Ayala Hubert earned her MD degree from the Faculty of Medicine
in the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and subsequently served an internship residency in Oncology at Hadassah Hospital, Jerusalem, Israel. She was appointed Senior Lecturer at the Hebrew University in 2012 and Head of the GI Oncology Center at Hadassah University Hospital in 2009.
On the national level, Dr. Hubert was elected on 2/2014 as the Chairperson of the Israeli Group of Gastrointestinal Malignancies under the Israeli Society for Oncology and Radiotherapy. On the international level: She led a preceptorship program that took place in Hadassah during 4/2016 for young European oncologists.
She is the author or co-author of more than 60 journal articles.
Her scientific research has focused in several areas; mainly personalized treatment, biomarkers, molecular analysis to guide treatment, genetics of cancer and immunotherapy in gastrointestinal malignancies.
