Vascular Surgery

The department carries out a variety of vascular operations, such as: endarterectomy of the carotid arteries, repairs of aneurysms of the aorta and the peripheral arteries, by-pass between the aorta and blood vessels of the limbs, by-pass between the aorta and the kidneys' arteries, by-pass between the aorta and the arteries of the intestines and the liver.

The department of vascular surgery at Hadassah Ein Kerem was established as an independent department in 1974.

The surgical staff includes three senior surgeons who are specialists in general surgery and vascular surgery, a resident in vascular surgery, and a resident in general surgery during his rotation period.
